Coach Mike MacDonald presents The MacDonald Basketball Academy at Daemen College 2020 Summer Basketball Day Camp. Please join Mike MacDonald and his staff for a week long basketball camp filled with stations, drills, games, contests and so much more. Strong emphasis is placed on the fundamentals of basketball especially shooting. Our basketball camp is staffed by some of the finest coaches in the country. These coaches have worked at every level of basketball. Campers will be assisted by professional and college basketball players including members of the Daemen Wildcats. All campers will receive their “MBA” which includes a reversible jersey, a basketball, a T-shirt and a gym bag. If campers attend both July and August Session then they receive a special gift. The “Mini Mac” League (ages 5-8) will use smaller basketballs and have special attention. Team and Individual awards are given out at the conclusion of the camp at the week ending closing ceremony. The “Working Parents Special” consists of free early drop off and late pick up. The gym will be supervised for 1 hour prior to the start of camp and 1 hour after camp ends. The MacDonald Basketball Academy at Daemen College will be fully staffed with two athletic trainers and we have a fully equipped training room to meet all of the campers needs. The camp director reserves the right to dismiss any camper for misconduct. No refund will be given in that case. Due to our popularity as a teaching camp, it is necessary to limit the number of participants. It is recommended to apply early to ensure placement

Check in Table: by giving the campers name. If any money is owed we will collect it at this time.

Lunch Pre-Pay Table: $35 will be collected (cash only) for those campers wishing to purchase all 5 lunches for the week. The camper will receive a wristband which should be left on all week indicating they have pre-paid. Should they lose it we will have replacements available.

Health Form Table: where the trainers will collect any completed Health Form that were not filled out online and will collect any medication, epi pens, etc. that a camper will need to leave with our trainers. If you forgot to complete the form then they will have extra forms for you to complete. ALL CAMPERS MUST HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE.

Jersey Table: each camper will receive their official camp jersey which must be worn daily to camp.

Camp Bank: campers will be directed to the Camp Bank room. This is where you can leave all your belongings, money, lunch and whatever else you bring to camp daily. Each camper will receive a number that corresponds to their name. The camp bank room is secure and fully staffed throughout the entire day. Hours of operation are 8am to 5pm. We ask that at the end of the week each camper makes sure they take everything home.

Gym: when all the registration steps are complete, the camper will head to the gym, start shooting and wait for camp to begin promptly at 9am.
